B'Easy
Gentle Soul, Needs Gentle Home
Breed: Hound, Mix
Age: Adult
Sex: Female - Spayed
B'Easy, a 5 or 6 year-old hound dog mix, was rescued from New Orleans, LA after Hurricane Katrina hit the south. We don't know the details of her history, but we do know that she was rescued from the aftermath of the hurricane's destruction, so we can only imagine what she must have experienced. B'Easy, named in tribute to her city, is a very shy, still somewhat traumatized girl who has recently been relocated to a foster home here in NYC. Even though she has obviously endured a lot, she is extremely sweet and gentle and loves people. Everything about her is gentle, so we hope to find her a home that is loving, warm, and quiet where she will be cherished. It would be ideal for her to live outside of the city, as it is quite overwhelming for her. B'Easy currently lives with two crazy male chihuahuas and a big, mushy male pit bull and she gets along with everyone but due to her trauma it would be nice if she could be an only dog or with a small dog (preferrably male.) so that she can get lots of attention. She has displayed a sense of fondness for children, so it is possible that she has had experience with them before. We'll know more once she comes out of her shell a bit. Because she is still recovering from the shock of what has happened to her recently, we think that her timid nature will blossom beautifully once she gains a little more confidence in her new environment. B'Easy is a truly special, gentle soul who deserves a loving home that will nurture her and make her feel safe. If you are interested in this sweet-as-honey southern belle, please call
