Pepita A Miracle Filled with Love Breed: Border Collie/Shepherd Mix Age: Senior Sex: Female - Spayed

Pepita is an incredibly smart and affectionate ten year old with an immense love for people and cats. She was found tied to a tree during a rain storm in Quito, the Capital of Ecuador. When the volunteer of the Amigo Fiel Foundation in Ecuador tried to pick her up to put her in her car, she discovered that Pepita had a broken hip and was partially paralized. After several years of rehabilitation and lots of special care, Pepita regained her ability to walk as well as her zest for life. Although she has minor difficulties walking up stairs, and jumping on to the couch or bed, Pepita loves to go for walks and plays like a normal dog -- her favorite past-time is to play with and take long naps with her feline friends. She weighs 38 lbs, is spayed, dewormed and fully vaccinated. Pepita is currently in the new York area waiting for her forever home.
