Bindhi

An Absolute Gem

Breed: American Staffordshire Terrier
Age: Young

E-mail Bindhi, Stray from the Heart adopt a dog page to a friend. Adopt a Stray today!

Bindhi At a little over a year old and about 40 pounds, our little Bindhi is an absolute gem. Her favorite pastime is kissing people and she will sneak kisses like a samurai when you let her. Her foster mom says that when she lifts her up, Bindhi wraps her paws around her neck and nuzzles, almost like a human hug! She is super affectionate and loves quality cuddle time--in fact, she'll lay in your lap and nap with you for hours if you're up for it.

This lovable girl is wonderful with kids and would be a fantastic family dog. She loves other dogs and would do wonderfully in a home with one that loves to play. In the dog park, she plays with everyone and doesn't discriminate. She is extremely social and we would love to see her have a canine buddy to pal around with. But most of all, we're looking for a home that will lavish her with love and affection--that's what she lives for. Bindhi's physical trademark is her very unique brindle coat--a mix of gold, brown, and pewter fur. She often gets compliments on how unusual and pretty it is, and she loves the attention!

Unfortunately, Bindhi currently has a case of demodex, a type of non-contagious mange brought on by stress and poor care/nutrition. However, she is on antibiotics and her skin is clearing up beautifully! Her new owner will need to finish the treatment to completely wipe out all traces of this condition for a few months. She is 99% housetrained (and once she's in a home with a routine, we're sure she'll be 100%), spayed, and up to date on her shots. Bindhi is a happy, spirited, lovely girl who has a ton to offer a very lucky family. She has a beautiful personality and such a joie de vivre spirit about her.
