This little Princess was rescued at the 11th hour from the City's kill-shelter where she was brought in as a Stray with a broken femur. After emergency surgery by one of New York City's top orthopedic veterinarians, Princess has recovered from her injury and is ready to join her forever home. She is an incredibly sweet, loving dog -- a snuggler who loves to always be by your side. At two years old and only 32 lbs, she is the ideal companion for those who love the breed but have living space limitations. She is housebroken, is very obedient and a quick learner. Princess is also very affectionate, and does not like to be left alone. Her ideal home is where one works from home, or where there are two adults working different schedules. She needs a home that can give her lots of love and attention. She's a little shy at first but warms up quickly as she begins to feel comfortable with strangers. Once properly introduced to other dogs, Princess loves to play with them and will do well in a home with a male dog.
