With the athleticism of a tiger and the heart of a puppy, Tiger is quite a find. At 70 pounds, this gorgeous 2-year-old Mastiff/Shepherd mix is the biggest baby you'll ever meet. He loves cuddling and will hog the bed if you let him. He's a very loving boy who just wants to please. At the same time, Tiger is a very athletic, nature-oriented dog who LOVES being outside. If you are an avid hiker/runner/explorer and want a loyal partner to join you on your expeditions, Tiger fits the bill. He will keep you company and at the same time keep you laughing with his goofy personality. Tiger should be the only dog in the home because he can be jealous of attention. He is a big, strong boy on the leash, but he listens well to commands. He does have some leash aggression towards other dogs when outdoors, and he would benefit from some work with a trainer. He plays well with large dogs once introduced, but he will sometimes bark at them when he sees them in the park. He is neutered, up to date on his shots, and totally housetrained. Ideally, we are really hoping for a home that is out of the city because of his love of nature and space and because of the way he sometimes interacts with other dogs. Tiger is basically the best of both worlds: a big cuddlebug/couch potato who loves to veg out with his best friend and an outdoorsy companion who will entertain you while exercising and exploring.
